Yep, that’s me.

I am the owner and proud operator of Shane's Handyman Services Farm & Home (formerly Top Shelf Toolbox). Let me tell you a little bit about how I got started.

Both my grandfather and my father are what we all call “jack of all trades”, so you might say a lot of this comes inherently. I’ve always enjoyed fixing and improving things. One of my biggest accomplishments, and learning credential, was taking over our small family cabin. Originally built off the grid in 1965, it had no running water and no electricity. It was enjoyed by many for years with only small renovations. After various contractors failed to fulfill promises and left projects open-ended (which resulted in the cabin sitting vacant for too long), I decided to step in. That was about 15 years ago. Today, I call this renewed 1200 sq ft cabin ‘home’, fully renovated and landscaped by yours truly. Through all the work, I have come across just about every challenge you could think of, be it home or equipment. If you're not 100% sure on your projects, chances are I may have some insight. I love a good challenge and look forward to helping you around your home and property.

When I’m not working, I can usually be found at the cabin with my family. If they can’t find me, I’m probably out fishing or sitting in the woods, bound to return home before dinner time.
